We already recognise outstanding franchisors through the Best Franchise Awards.

The 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction accreditation builds on this by further highlighting those who truly stand out.

How We Measure 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction

The 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction Award is presented to franchisors who achieve above our industry average scores across five key areas we measure:

Franchisors are required to meet these key conditions:

  • Franchisor must operate with at least 10 UK franchisees.
  • Achieve a response rate of at least 60%. Franchisors with 10–19 franchisees must both meet the 60% threshold and provide a minimum of 10 responses.
  • Franchisors must upgrade to access the full report and analysis.
  • The survey captures franchisees’ views at a single point in time. To maintain 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction status, franchisors are required to resurvey annually.
  • WorkBuzz reserves the right to make the final decision on whether a franchisor is awarded 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction.

How does this link with the Best Franchise Awards?

Franchisors participating in WorkBuzz’s Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark programme will be eligible for both 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction and the Best Franchise Awards.

Some outstanding franchisors may be recognised through both these programmes, whereas others may just miss out on being shortlisted for the awards, but are awarded 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction.
